About Exchange Rates in Uzbekistan
Rates are updated daily based on data from the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan (CBU). The official rate is set every business day and is used for tax reporting, customs clearance, and bookkeeping.
Commercial banks set their own buy and sell rates that differ from the official rate. The spread is the bank's profit on exchange operations. The smaller the spread, the better the deal.
