Mortgage in Uzbekistan: rates and conditions
In 2024–2025, Uzbekistan banks offer mortgage programs at rates from 14% to 28% per year. Subsidized programs for certain citizen categories start from 7%. Standard term — up to 25 years.
Minimum down payment is typically 20–30% of the property value. LTV must not exceed 70–80%. The higher the down payment, the lower the rate and monthly burden.
With annuity payments, the majority of early payments goes toward interest, not principal. The differentiated scheme saves on total interest but requires higher income at the start of the term.
